My collection
started in 1983 when my Dad asked me to find a set of the No Evil
Monkeys for him, because he thought he was like them. After his
stroke and with age taking its toll, he couldn’t hear very well,
his sight was failing due to macular degeneration and his stroke
profoundly affected his ability to speak. This request turned out to
be an unexpected challenge. I had a very difficult time finding the
first set, which was finally found in a Hallmark store.
